This Riesling is on fire! Big acid, bright minerality, grapefruit and lemon with a hint of flowers. There is no residual sugar in this wine so it is not sweet at all, it is completely dry. From the rocky, loamy Kristy’s Vineyard.
2022 Blanc de Blanc
Twenty months in tirage this sparkling is bright and lush. The 2020 cuvée had a slightly higher pH (less acidic) than the 2019 and is drinking beautifully with the classic lemon and grapefruit but with a round mouth kissed with melon and pear.
These two Northern Rhone varietals grown in Carmel Valley from the Paloma Creek Vineyard are traditionally blended together. The slightly crisp nature of Marsanne with white nectarine, quince & lemon balance out the creamy Roussanne with fig, peach, pear and a little nuttiness.
The 2021 vintage is bright and dense. This wine with smells like a walk in the woods. Trailside anise, bay laurel and redwood duff. The nose and evolves into clove spiced red cherry. Medium acid blends well with soft but evident tannins.
This single varietal Grenache sparks with nutmeg, clove, anise and black cherries will make your meal sing! The versatility of Grenache allows this wine to be paired with a varitey of proteins from seafood to beef. Approachable on all levels!
